From Panagiota to Brooke, December 1, 2007
I think you'll really like the playgroup. The moms I've met there are super nice. And they have kids of all ages, some near Felix's age. When the weather is nice I think they meet in a park. When Sofia is a little older and more on a schedule (and our aparment is babyproofed and not a child hazard!), I would be happy to babysit Felix once in a while to give you and Dave some couple time. I'm so in love with your son by the way. Even my husband makes fun of me for it.
This was Panagiota's favourite Felix story:
.........
Felix says "I don't want to brush teeth, I want to go to the park!"
Dave says jokingly, "What you want is irrelevant"
So today Felix and I are getting ready to go shopping but I've misplaced my keys. Felix says:
"Whatcha doing, Mommy?"
"Well honey, I want to go to the store but I can't find my keys." I say.
"What you want", says Felix, "Is an elephant."

Oh man, Pegs absolutely LOVED that story. That and the story about Dave having Alvin and the Chipmunks on his iPod. Or Felix's inability to say fork in any language. She was quite smitten with your little man, and would be even more so if she could hear his new English accent.
Pegs even put the fork story in an Alexanderpool blog post:

Also, where is that photo of Pegs and Felix from, Brooke? It reminds me of a little outing that Ariel and I tagged along on when we all went to Dave's workplace. Was that it?
No, that was when the Sings and Alexanderpools went to Fontainbleau (sp?) I have a couple of good photos from the picnic, though. Will post when I find them.
The photo of Pegs with Felix is delightful. - Jill
